Took a stroll after church on a Sunday afternoon. MinSheng District is always fun to hang out and explore, an area full of new and tiny cafes and stylish shops. You gotta check it out every now and then, to keep up the the vibe. My friends were doing their street performance while we waited to be seated.
postcards, stickers, collectables, scenery frames etc etc, they had fitted alot of things in this tiny cafe. There must be something unique to this cafe in order for them to survive in the central cafe district (can’t believe how many cafes are there in this area). They have special coffee arts and home style japanese curry, not to mention that rice comes in dolphin or rabbit shapes. Their cakes are pretty good too since it was the strawberry season, we ordered the strawberry cake. The soft and fluffy sponge cake came with big n juicy strawberries, a good companion for your matcha latte.
Drinks and cakes are $150 TWD and I do recommend their Matcha Latte, it was on the good side. Unlike those over bitter or milky ones, the ratio of matcha and milk was just right, plus the coffee arts were just irresistible.
Be sure to try out their Chocolate banana tart, ($120) chocolate sauce dripping down from the banana tower. It was soo guuuud, sad that my friends ain’t the banana type of person so we gave it a skip this time.
With plugs and free wifi you can surely spend your afternoon there.
