Being a foodie in Taipei, you will never run short of new restaurants to try out. With a new trend of American comfort food from EIEIO (Click here) to the lobster bar and the coming soon Queen Cuisine (Click here).
Needed some girl’s heart to heart talk, shopping and comfort food. Went to the ZhongXiao district with my Boo, and I suggested that we go to The Lobster Bar since I was longing for some comfort food.
We arrived really early and the place was empty and after an hour it was full, even the private room. The private room can host up to 10 guests, perfect for friends gatherings and birthday parties.
We ordered the mini rolls ($380 TWD), which came in three different flavors LOBSTER , prawn and crab meat. Big chunks of lobster meat with the warm buttery bun, need to say more?? I vote went to the lobster roll for sure out of the threesome, it also comes in the regular portion ($630 TWD).
We also had the lobster bisque ($380) definitely worth the money the creamy bisque had a generous amount of lobster chucks in it. It had a great depth of flavor and just like other seafood bisque it was on the heavy seasoned side. This was what you needed on a cold, rainy miserable evening!
Lastly, we had the Lobster ravioli ($620) was perfect for a pasta freak like me. The al dente ravioli pasta was filled with lobster meat were swimming in the rich lobster broth. The ravioli itself didn’t have much flavor but with the sauce, they made the perfect couple.
